Mikołaj Pałosz, freelance cellist, contemporary music performer and improviser. Graduate of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw with Kazimierz Michalik and Andrzej Bauer. He is prizewinner at music competitions including the Penderecki International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in Cracow and Lutosławski International Cello Competition in Warsaw. He appears regularly at the Warsaw Autumn Festival. Member of Netherlands-based Cello Octet Amsterdam and Warsaw Cellonet group. His solo album Cellovator with contemporary compositions and improvisations has been released by DUX label in 2008. He lives in Warsaw, Poland.
