The International Cultural Centre was founded on 29th May 1991 during the CSCE symposium in Cracow. This was a special moment: the first meeting of East and West dedicated to culture and cultural heritage since the memorable year of 1989. Thus, the new institution with a clear mission made its mark on the international forum from its very inception.
