Collegium Maius, situated at the corner of St.Anna and Jagiellonska Streets, is the oldest university edifice in Poland. Its history goes back to the year 1400, when King Wladyslaw Jagiello purchased the Pecherz family's corner house and donated it to the University.
Permanent exhibitions: Mementos of famous students and professors of the university; exhibition of scientific instruments and gallery of sculpture and painting open during the museum’s opening hours only after advance booking (60 min., tickets PLN 16/12).
The interactive exhibition: The World of Senses (Mon-Sat 9am-1:30pm; tickets PLN 7/5; ticket reservation: phone (12) 663 13 19).
