In 2007, two permanent galleries presenting works of Polish mediaeval, Renaissance, and baroque art were opened in the Palace. The large collection of icons is especially worth a visit. Besides the permanent exhibitions, the Palace also houses the main offices of two scientific divisions of the National Museum: Division I – Polish painting and sculpture before 1764, and Division XVIII – The art of Orthodox Christianity. The studio for the conservation of painting and sculpture is also situated in the same building. The exhibitions in the Palace offer a broad range of educational opportunities.
Permanent galleries: Orthodox Art of the Old Polish Republic, Art of Old Poland 12th-18th Century.
