One of the youngest branches of the museum, as it was opened on 26th April 2005, it focuses its operation on the history of Nowa Huta: Kraków’s newest district. It has collected together a variety of objects related to the area, both from modern times and from the days before the establishment of the “new steelworks” city and the steel mills themselves, that is from before 1949.
