This park is part of the Complex of Jurassic Landscape Parks, stretching along the Vistula River valley from Ściejowice to Kraków. It includes three major forest complexes: Lasek Wolski, near Tyniec, and the Czernichów area. The name comes from the two ancient monasteries situated in the park: the Camaldolese Monastery in Bielany, and the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec. There are 63 different natural heritage sites in the park, one of them being the avenue of small-leaved lime by the Benedictine Abbey, another – the Kryspinów Cave, and yet another – the Park by Villa Decius.
